About Perry's Lawn Mowing Service, LLC

Out past Columbia the land flattens toward the Congaree bottoms, and Horrell Hill sits in that in-between country of sand, pine and old oak shade. Perry's Lawn Mowing Service, LLC works those yards through the long Midlands summer, when the cicadas start up by ten and the grass never really stops. Mowing, edging, trimming around fence lines and mailboxes, then blowing every walk clean — done in an order that doesn't vary. There is real pride in the last look back from the truck: the lines running true, the lawn sitting flat and quiet in the heat. When the afternoon storm builds up off the river, it falls on a yard already put right.
