About Matthews Tree & Landscaping LLC

Where Hartsville thins out toward Society Hill, the yards run straight up against planted pine, and an August evening arrives with a hush and a fresh scatter of needles on the grass. Matthews Tree & Landscaping LLC works that edge of town - mowing, trimming the rough margins where lawn gives way to woods, and clearing the litter that drifts in off the trees. Beds are edged and cleaned, and the walks and drives get run down with the blower before the light goes. Grass pushes hard through these humid months, so the visits stay close together. The last cut of the day, with the pines going dark behind it, is always the one that looks best.
