About Hanahan Lawn Care

October is Hanahan's gift month: the humidity finally loosens, the light turns gold over the ball fields at the recreation complex, and mowing becomes a pleasure instead of an endurance test. Hanahan Lawn Care carries the town's name and looks after the town's yards — cutting, trimming, edging and clearing leaves as fast as they come down. Centipede lawns slow their growth this time of year, so the visits lean toward tidying: beds cleared, walks cleaned off, the last sweetgum balls raked out of the grass. It is unglamorous, steady work, and it is what makes a street look like people are home in it. A yard here should be ready for a folding chair and a cool evening.
