About CMCRUZ Tree Service, Mulch & More

The Reedy drops through the middle of Greenville and the city arranged itself around the sound; a few blocks uphill, the mill-village streets still run under water oaks wide enough to shade three houses at once. CMCRUZ Tree Service, Mulch & More works those neighborhoods and the ones out toward Paris Mountain — removing a hackberry that has outgrown a small lot, trimming limbs back off a porch roof, pruning big crowns so an old tree keeps standing instead of shedding into the street. Autumn is the clear stretch for it, leaves down and the architecture of a tree finally visible. When a summer storm sets up over the escarpment and rolls into town, the work afterward goes street by street until the driveways are usable again. What is left is plain and it lasts: clean cuts, brush gone, chips swept off the sidewalk. Greenville, Travelers Rest, Taylors, Mauldin and Simpsonville all sit inside a day.
