Wick. Landscaping & Handyman

About Wick. Landscaping & Handyman

Come October the light over Gaffney runs long and low down the old mill streets, and the yards hold their green a while after the open fields have given it up. Wick. Landscaping & Handyman keeps those blocks, and the roads that bend out toward Thicketty Creek, on a steady mowing rhythm — trimmed close around fence posts and mailbox stands, edged where turf meets the drive. Clay ground and the wind that slides down out of the foothills are both hard on a lawn, so the cleanup counts as much as the cut: leaves off, clippings gone, the yard squared away before the first real cold comes through. There is a plain kind of satisfaction in pulling out at dusk and seeing the mowing lines hold all the way to the curb. Gaffney notices a kept yard, and this is work done for the noticing.
