About Martin's Services

The first real frost in this part of the upstate usually shows up on the low fields out the Chesnee road, white on the grass and gone by nine. Mornings like that change the work: the mower waits for the thaw, and the day starts with rakes and blowers instead. Martin's Services handles the whole turn of the year in Gaffney — mowing and trimming while things are growing, then leaf cleanup, bed clearing and general yard tidying once the growth slows. Getting the leaves off before they mat down and sour the turf is the difference between a lawn that sulks in spring and one that comes back willing. It is a good feeling to leave a yard bare, clean and squared away with winter on the way.
