About Forbes Lawn & Landscaping

Fort Mill took its name from a fort and a grist mill, and Steele Creek still runs cool through the low ground where that mill once turned. Forbes Lawn & Landscaping works the yards above those creek bottoms, where October pulls the light down early and the leaves come loose in a rush. Mowing tapers as the air cools, and leaf removal, cleanups and mulch take over the week. Bermuda fades toward straw while the fescue lawns deepen, and each gets cut at the height that suits it. Come the last warm stretch, the yards stand stripped clean and ready for the cold.
