About Pee Dee Tree and Ground Works LLC

East of town the Great Pee Dee runs dark and slow between the cypress, the color of strong tea, and the whole region takes its name from that water. Pee Dee Tree and Ground Works LLC works the ground above it — grass mowed even, trimming carried into the awkward corners, yard debris hauled off so a lawn has room to be a lawn. Ground work shows: you can read it from the road when it's done, and you can read it when it isn't. The good part is standing at the tailgate afterward, looking back at a place that's been put in order. Work runs from Darlington out to Society Hill and Mont Clare.
