Hill creek Tree Service

About Hill creek Tree Service

Darlington lies low and open in the Pee Dee, where an August thunderhead can build over the fields in an hour and be gone by supper, leaving limbs down and the whole town smelling of wet pine. Hill creek Tree Service works the mornings after that — clearing storm damage, taking out what the wind cracked and left leaning, hauling the wreck of a limb off a driveway before anybody has to get somewhere. Cooler months turn to steadier work: pruning the water oaks that shade the older streets, trimming a pecan back off a roofline while the crown is still easy to read. The moment worth waiting for is the last cut, when a tree that was crowding a house settles into balance and light drops back onto grass that had forgotten it. Across Darlington, Lamar, Society Hill and the farm roads between, that is the whole point — a yard that gives no sign anything ever went wrong in it.
