About Rivertown Landscaping and lawn maintenance

The Waccamaw slides past Conway the color of strong tea, slow between cypress knees, and the low ground east of it takes its weather and its light from the water. Rivertown Landscaping and lawn maintenance works those yards hardest in November, when the water oaks and sweetgums let go all at once and the ground disappears underneath them. Leaves are raked, hauled and cleared out of the beds; the beds are cut back, edged and topped with mulch for the cool months. One more mowing goes down before the grass gives up for the year, and the shrubs are pruned while their shape is still easy to read. By January the yard sits quiet and squared away, and the river fog rolls in over a lawn already pointed at spring.
