About Herring Lawn Service, LLC

The Broad River enters Columbia over shoals and granite, loud in the spring and lazy by August, and the old neighborhoods above it — Earlewood, Eau Claire — climb the bluff in short, steep blocks. Herring Lawn Service, LLC keeps those yards mowed, edged and trimmed, takes the hedges back to shape, and clears the leaves once the hardwoods let go. Hillside lots reward careful mowing; a slope cut across the grade looks better and holds better than one bullied straight down. Mulch goes into the beds each spring, and the walks get blown before the truck pulls away. It is lawn care measured street by street, the way this part of town was laid out in the first place.
