About D & C Manigault Lawn Service

Older in-town streets tend to be brick and well shaded, the kind of blocks where the houses sit close, the yards run small and the trees have been there longer than anyone on the street. D & C Manigault Lawn Service works in-town lots like those in Columbia and the streets behind them — mowing narrow side yards, trimming along old foundations and fences, edging the walks and sweeping them clean afterward. Town work asks for a careful hand: tight turns, mature roots, hedges that have been shaped by somebody for a long time and deserve to keep their shape. Saturday mornings the block looks cut, swept and settled, and neighbors sit out on it. Keeping the older blocks of a town looking cared for is honest work, and this is a lawn service glad to be doing it.
