About Columbia Landscaping and Lawn Care

Noon on a Wednesday downtown: the State House oaks throw hard shade across Gervais, and the grass underneath takes some coaxing. Columbia Landscaping and Lawn Care runs the blocks around Main and out through the near neighborhoods, mowing, edging, trimming, blowing walks, shaping shrubs and freshening beds. City lawns get walked on, parked beside and rained on all summer, and they still have to look composed by Friday. That is the whole job — arriving on a schedule the grass can count on. A capital city ought to look like somebody is minding it, and on these streets somebody is.
