About Welch Turf and Landscape, LLC

Come October the light over Lake Wylie goes long and gold by five, and the ridgeline north toward Kings Mountain turns the color of a struck match. That is Welch Turf and Landscape's favorite stretch of the Clover calendar, fescue weather, when cool nights let new seed take hold and a tired yard can be talked back into green. The ground gets read before anything else runs: where the clay has packed hard, where a shade line has thinned the stand, where the mowing height needs to come up an inch and stay there. Cutting, edging and cleanup carry the rest of the year, but autumn is when the long argument with a lawn actually gets settled. Around Clover, Bethel and Bowling Green, the reward is plain enough to see from the road, turf that holds its color into the short days and a lawn line straight enough to sight down.
