About Grit Gurus

Late October turns the mill-village streets of Clinton the color of rust and butter, and every one of those leaves eventually lands on somebody's grass. Grit Gurus takes them back off it, raking and hauling yard debris, then putting a last careful cut on the lawn before the cold settles into the clay. The rest of the year is mowing, edging and trimming across Clinton and the small towns strung around it. Oak roots, red banks, a slope that only wants to be mown crossways: the ground here has opinions, and the work answers them. A yard that looks tended in November is a yard somebody chose to care about.
