Fancher's Lawn Care

About Fancher's Lawn Care

For a few weeks in March the roads around Campobello run pink, peach rows in bloom on either side and the whole upstate smelling faintly of the crop to come. Fancher's Lawn Care opens its year in that window, when the grass shakes off winter and the first cuts set the shape for everything after. Through summer the work settles into mowing, edging, trimming along fences and driveways, and hauling the cuttings off. Autumn brings leaves down from the hardwoods along the foothills highway and a different sort of cleanup. Every pass leaves a yard looking like somebody meant it that way.
