About Scientific Turf Inc.

Under most Bluffton lawns there is sand, old river silt and a summer that runs hot from May clear into October. Scientific Turf Inc. works with what that ground actually is, feeding centipede, zoysia and St. Augustine on a schedule the heat sets rather than the calendar, and treating weeds while they are still small enough to lose. Mowing heights get raised as July leans on the turf and pulled back when the nights finally cool. Aeration opens compacted ground so water reaches roots instead of running to the ditch. What comes of it is a lawn with even color and a thick, quiet stand of grass underfoot — the kind you notice with your feet before your eyes.
