A & L lawn

About A & L lawn

Batesburg grew up along the rail line, and those tracks still cut a straight seam through town that everything else lines up against. A & L lawn takes that straightness personally: edges cut true along drives and sidewalks, trimming worked in tight around steps and posts, the mow squared to the shape of the yard. Late in a summer day the light here comes in low and sideways, and a freshly cut lawn holds it like nothing else on the street. There is a plain satisfaction in driving away from a yard that has been brought back to its lines. Service runs through Batesburg and out to Leesville, Gilbert and Pelion.
