Chris' Lawn care

About Chris' Lawn care

Barnwell keeps time by a sundial on the courthouse square, and Chris' Lawn care keeps a time of its own — mowing day coming back around as steady as that shadow crossing the dial. Work starts early here, while dew still weighs down the grass on the streets off Main and the heat is only a rumor. A mower pass, a trimmed fence line, an edge cut clean along the walk: small things that add up to a yard somebody clearly looks after. There is real pleasure in the last pass, when the lines run true and the clippings are blown back off the drive. This is lawn care for Barnwell homes and for neighbors out toward Snelling, Elko and Hilda.
