About Titan Turf - Weed Control & Fertilization

Turf in the Upstate is decided in February, weeks before anyone's grass has thought about turning green. Titan Turf - Weed Control & Fertilization runs that calendar: pre-emergent laid down ahead of the crabgrass, broadleaf treatments through spring, and fertilization timed to how bermuda, centipede, zoysia and fescue each wake up in Anderson clay. Summers here are long and humid, which suits weeds every bit as much as lawns, so the year becomes a sequence of small well-timed passes instead of one big rescue in August. The proof arrives in July — a lawn that is simply, evenly green, with nothing else living in it, so thoroughly plain that you forget what it took. That is the whole aim: a stand of turf thick enough that there is no room left for anything to move in.
