Cold Creek Nurseries

About Cold Creek Nurseries

Winter in Aiken is more of a long pause than a hard stop — camellias open in February while the hardwoods are still bare, and something is always just about to bloom. Cold Creek Nurseries works in that gap: planting shrubs and trees, shaping beds, mulching, and putting the right plant into ground that is more sand than loam. Stock chosen for this county behaves differently from anything trucked in from elsewhere, and the difference shows plainly by the second summer. There is real pleasure in walking away from a fresh bed already knowing what it will look like once it fills in. Lawn care rounds the work out, so the green between the beds keeps pace with the plantings.
