No-Shade Tree Service

About No-Shade Tree Service

Abbeville's square keeps its brick and its shade, but a mile out toward Long Cane the pines take over and the hardwoods lean wherever the red clay lets them. No-Shade Tree Service works that country: removals when a water oak has gotten too heavy for the roof beneath it, trimming to open a yard back up, pruning that sets a young tree straight before the wind teaches it otherwise. Summer storms arrive fast off the piedmont hills and leave a driveway under limbs by dark, and the next morning is for hauling every bit of it out. The name is a joke about the result, and the result is real — a clean line of sky where a hazard used to stand. Abbeville, Due West, Calhoun Falls, Honea Path and the roads around the national forest.
