Miles of LandCare

About Miles of LandCare

Some winter nights the route runs longer than the storm does, up the pitch of Privilege Street and back down again, one driveway at a time. Miles of LandCare covers that ground — plowing, shoveling, salting and sanding through the cold months, then mowing, trimming, edging, mulching and cleanups once the city thaws. Woonsocket's streets were laid out for mills and mill housing, which means tight turns, short driveways and neighbors close enough to hear the blade drop. Doing it well means doing it quickly, quietly, and in the same order every time. Come July the same list gets run with mowers, and the city looks the way it should.
