About Speranza Landscaping

Westerly sits where the Pawcatuck River loosens into salt marsh and the granite underfoot runs all the way out to the beach grass at the point. Speranza Landscaping works that ground: asphalt driveways installed, widened, and patched; patios, walkways, and retaining walls set into slopes that would rather not hold; excavation, grading, and drainage cut so the spring rain leaves a yard instead of standing in it; tree work, landscape maintenance, and loam brought in by the truckload. There is a plain satisfaction in the finished line of it — a new drive running dark and true from the road to the door, a wall squaring off a hillside, water going where it was told to go. From the mill-brick streets downtown to the shore roads and the wooded lots north of them, the crew works across southern Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut, leaving each property a little more settled into its own ground.
