About DiSpirito Landscaping LLC

The mower lays its long parallel lines up a Westerly slope, the trimmer takes the edge clean along an old granite wall, and by noon the yard reads like something set in order by hand. DiSpirito Landscaping LLC is a lawn and landscape company working through Washington County — mowing, fertilization, weed and insect control, core aeration, sod installation, landscape installation and maintenance, trimming and pruning, yard cleanups and leaf removal — with residential and commercial snow plowing when the coast goes white. There is salt in the air off Misquamicut, granite in the ground under these hills, and grass that comes on fast in June light; a lawn still holding its color deep into August is the whole reward for the effort. The crews carry that across Westerly, Charlestown, Ashaway and over the Pawcatuck into Stonington, leaving behind crisp edges, raked-clean beds, drives opened before the first commuter stirs, and yards that plainly look glad about it.
