On a Tuesday afternoon in June you can hear West Warwick before you see much of it — mowers working somewhere behind the houses along Providence Street, that steady drone the town makes all summer. Lawn Care adds its share of it, cutting, trimming and edging yards from one end of town to the other. The deck rides at a height that lets the lawn keep its color through a dry stretch, and the trimmer squares up around posts, hydrants and the base of every fence. Cleanups come at both ends of the year, leaves and winter debris carted away. Nothing complicated in any of it, only done all the way out to the corners.
