About Calan Services LLC

A plate compactor thuds its steady pulse over fresh base stone, and then the hands take over — a paver lifted, turned, set, tapped down until the line runs true. Calan Services LLC builds in that patient rhythm across Warwick, where the land tips down through old mill-village streets toward the coves of Greenwich Bay and the light off the water goes silver by late afternoon. They set stone patios, retaining walls, walkways and paver driveways; they grade and level ground that never wanted to drain, lay sod, shape bushes, clear the season's fallen litter in spring and fall, and push snow off pavement when winter has its turn. What stays behind is the pleasure of the thing: a wall holding a slope in place, a walk that meets the door square, a yard that finally sits the way the ground meant it to. Come January the same driveway lies swept and dark before the neighborhood wakes, and the stone underneath is still exactly where it was set.
