D&D Mulch and Landscape

About D&D Mulch and Landscape

Warren's dooryards run narrow and close — clapboard fronts a step off the sidewalk, low stone walls holding back small gardens, side streets tipping downhill toward the river and the salt smell that rides up with the tide. D&D Mulch and Landscape works those yards and the commercial lots around them: screening loam, making bark mulch on site, moving crushed stone, sand, and seasoned firewood out by the bulk load or by pickup — or setting mulch in by hand, weeded and edged, laid dark against the green. Their masonry is meant to stay put, stone walls and walkways, patios and front steps, retaining walls, landings, shed pads, paver driveways, and it sits inside the fuller work of plantings, new lawns, and drainage that finally sends the water where it ought to go. When the bay wind turns and the lots go white before daylight, the same trucks are out plowing, sanding, and salting, so that the morning opens on bare pavement and a place that still looks cared for.
