About Manchester Tree & Landscaping

At Grinnell's Beach the old stone bridge abutment still stands out in the current, taking the tide four times a day and not much minding. Manchester Tree & Landscaping works the streets that run back from that shore — mowing and trimming lawns through the season, cleaning them up spring and fall, then plowing the same driveways when the river wind turns bitter. Salt air is hard on a lawn and harder on a walkway, so both jobs are really one job: keep the ground usable. The best part of a winter night is the last driveway, cleared and squared, headlights swinging back toward the bridge. The best part of a summer morning is the smell of a fresh cut carrying down the block.
