About Coppa and Son Landscape Construction Inc.

In Peace Dale the old stone mill buildings hold the cold the way a jar holds water, and a February storm can fill the village streets before anyone hears it arrive. Coppa and Son Landscape Construction works those nights — plowing, shoveling out entries, spreading sand and salt so the granite steps and the sloped drives above the Saugatucket are walkable by breakfast. Snow removal here is mostly a matter of timing: get ahead of the drifting, come back for the second push, leave the pile where it won't block a sightline. The reward is small and completely real — a lot opened to the curb line, tire tracks the only mark left behind.
