Richmond Snow Removal and Plowing

About Richmond Snow Removal and Plowing

Winter reaches Richmond quietly — first over the cedar swamps, then along the Wood River, where the water keeps running black under a skim of ice. Richmond Snow Removal and Plowing works the hours before anyone is awake, pushing driveways open between the stone walls that run off into the woods and disappear. The work is plowing, clearing lots and dooryards, shoveling walks by hand, and laying sand and salt so the first step out the door is a sure one. By the time the sky goes pale over Carolina and Wyoming, the pavement is dark and wide again. That is the whole pride of it: a driveway that lets you leave on time.
