Grade is everything in this part of Providence: what you leave behind at midnight is what somebody's tires have to hold at seven. Scraped to the surface, edges squared, nothing dumped where it will wash back down — that's the standard the terrain demands. It's demanding work in bad weather, and getting it right is its own reward.
