About Gutierrez Landscaping Inc.

After a storm Federal Hill goes almost silent — Atwells under a fresh layer, the restaurants dark, the whole avenue softened down to shapes. Gutierrez Landscaping Inc. works those hours, plowing driveways and lots and clearing walks across Providence while the snow is still loose enough to move. On the west side the streets pitch and turn, and a driveway left short of the pavement will simply be ice tomorrow. So it gets taken to the pavement: piles set where they won't be in anyone's way, entrances opened, steps cleared down to the concrete. Morning comes, the hill fills back up with people, and none of them have to think about it.
