DLUX Duty

About DLUX Duty

Four in the morning, and the marble dome of the State House is a pale ghost in the falling snow above Smith Hill. Providence sleeps; its streets go soft and soundless. DLUX Duty is built for hours like this one, clearing driveways, steps and front walks across the city so that when alarms ring, the path to the car or the bus stop is already open. City snow brings its own puzzles — tight lots, cars parked bumper to bumper, no obvious place to put it all — and solving them neatly is the whole job. By first light, the only white left is the white you meant to keep.
