About Hemond Yard Care, LLC

The mower's low steady note, the scrape of a shovel squared against a step, the pass and turn and pass again until a lawn lies as even as poured water — that is the shape of a day at Hemond Yard Care, LLC in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. On streets that climb away from the Blackstone, where triple-deckers stand shoulder to shoulder and the yards between them are measured in feet rather than acres, a crisp edge counts for something: it reads from the sidewalk, and it holds. Summer is cut and trim and the smell of grass drying warm against brick. Winter starts earlier — a plow blade opening a driveway while the mill windows are still dark, the walk cleared to the door before anyone has to think about it. Lawn care and snow removal, done for Pawtucket and the towns nearby, so the ground underfoot keeps its shape season after season.
