Elite Snow Removal

About Elite Snow Removal

At three in the morning Newport Avenue belongs to the snow and to whoever is willing to be out in it. Elite Snow Removal is out in it — blade down, working Darlington and the streets around it, opening driveways and lots while the city sleeps through the worst of the storm. Snow work runs on deadlines nobody announces: the shift that starts at six, the appointment at eight, the door that simply has to open. Clearing to bare pavement, stacking snow out of the sight lines, cutting a path to the steps — that's the job, finished while the streetlights are still the only light on the block. Pawtucket wakes up, and the storm is somebody else's memory.
