About Action Asphalt Services
Four in the morning on Mineral Spring Avenue: storefronts dark, snow coming level under the streetlights, not a footprint anywhere. Action Asphalt Services is already in it, pushing lots into clean rectangles and stacking the piles where they will not swallow a parking space by Thursday. Plowing, shoveling the walks, laying salt so the first customers of the day never once think about the pavement. North Providence is a town that gets up early, and the work has to be finished before it does. When the sun finally comes up on bare blacktop, that is the entire report.
