From the hill at Miantonomi you can take in most of Newport at once — rooftops running down to the harbor, the bay past them, and weather showing itself well before it arrives. Valterra Landscaping keeps the yards in that view through the growing months: mowing and trimming on rotation, edges cut sharp at drives and walks, beds mulched, hedges taken back to shape, cleanups in spring and again when the leaves finally let go. Then the blades go on the trucks and those same properties get plowed, shoveled and salted, driveways opened to full width and paths cut clear through to the door. Two kinds of work, one habit: leave the ground looking like somebody meant it. Newport in any month is worth that much.
