About BayScape Landscaping

Late autumn along Boston Neck Road, and the work turns with the wind — the last beds put down for the year, the first salt in the air that means plowing weather is coming. BayScape Landscaping works out of Narragansett, where the Narrow River slides down through the salt ponds and the light off the bay comes in low and silver, and where the ground has to be read before it can be shaped. Their days run from design and installation through sitework and bulk material, from ongoing residential and commercial maintenance to a driveway cleared before the first car needs it. There is a plain, physical satisfaction in that: a grade that finally sits right, an edge cut clean against the lawn, a coastal yard that keeps its shape through a February blow.
