About Seasonal Solutions

Island snow is a strange animal: it arrives wet off the water, piles heavy along Aquidneck Avenue, turns to rain down by Easton's Pond, then freezes hard again after dark. Seasonal Solutions runs snow removal through Middletown — plowing drives and lots, opening walks and entries, and treating the glaze that forms once the temperature slides back. A midnight storm here means going out twice, because what looked handled at ten o'clock will be a sheet of glass by five. The work happens in headlights and orange strobes, with the ocean off to the east making its own noise the whole time. What anyone sees in the morning is simply a clear driveway, and that is the entire ambition.
