About Steven K. Reuter Lawn and Landscape, inc.

Steven K. Reuter Lawn and Landscape, inc. works the stone-walled farm country of Little Compton, where hayfields tilt toward the Sakonnet and salt air drifts up the lanes past hedgerows and old granite posts. The week-to-week side of it is mowing, hedge trimming and pruning, fertilizing, lime and reseeding, spring and fall cleanups, field cutting and land clearing; the heavier side is stone — patios and walkways, outdoor kitchens, new driveways and cobblestone entrance aprons, hauled gravel, compost and mulch, and New England walls built or rebuilt along a property border, around a pool, up to a set of end posts. A wall laid true will outlast everyone who admires it, and a lawn cut clean to its edge reads like a room someone cares for. When winter closes the fields down, the same trucks are out ahead of the light, plowing drives in Little Compton, Tiverton and Westport so the morning starts on open pavement.
