Scott B's Lawn Service works both halves of the Johnston year: mowing, trimming, edging and leaf cleanup while things grow, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the first storm tracks up the bay. Knowing a property in summer makes it easier in winter — you already know where the walk narrows, where the culvert sits, which slope tips toward the garage door. Summer here smells like cut grass and hot pavement; February is quieter, all headlights and scraping steel. Same driveways, same doors, same idea: leave the place better than you found it and get out of the way.
