About JTL Gardens

At Simmonsville the water lies open, and a storm crossing it picks up an extra edge before it reaches the houses on the far bank. Drifting is the local specialty here — a driveway can look finished at ten in the morning and be closed again by noon. JTL Gardens plans around that, plowing and then plowing again where the wind insists, clearing driveways and lots, cutting shovel paths to doors and mailboxes, and spreading sand on the pitched approaches. The good moment comes at the end, when the pavement is dark and wet and the banks are set back well off the edges. Winter in Johnston is a negotiation, and it helps to have somebody who knows the terms.
