On Conanicut Island the light arrives twice — once out of the sky, once up off Narragansett Bay — and the salt wind edits every garden it touches. Atlantic Lawn & Garden works with that wind: native and natural landscapes set to take a gale, plant installations and transplanting, mulch laid dark and even, hedges and shrubs pruned back into their proper shape, stone patios and walkways and walls built to sit still. Through the long green stretch it's lawn care and treatments, fertilization, aeration, overseeding; then the property cleanups and gutter work that close the year down; then the plow, coming through before dawn to hand a driveway back clean to the pavement before anyone has to try it. Behind all of it sit the drawings — master plans, planting and grading plans, 3D modeling — plus drainage, excavation, driveways and tree removal, across Jamestown and southern Rhode Island.
