Mister Tree

About Mister Tree

Snow suits the pines in Arcadia; it stacks on the boughs until the whole forest leans and the road toward Beach Pond narrows into a tunnel of white. Mister Tree runs snow removal through that landscape, plowing Exeter driveways and clearing walkways where the trees crowd right up to the pavement. There is a certain calm to working at the edge of thousands of wooded acres, headlights on nothing but falling snow. The night ends when the last drive is opened and the last path is walkable. Then the woods get to be quiet again.
