Costa's Snow Removal

About Costa's Snow Removal

Evening in Watchemoket, and the lights of Providence blur across the Seekonk as the first sleet ticks at the windows. From Bold Point Park the Washington Bridge glows in one long line over the water, while closer in, the neighborhood streets go soft and slick. Costa's Snow Removal is an East Providence snow removal business, made for the nights when winter decides to stay awhile. Its work is a plain kind of rescue: a plow blade finding asphalt again, a drive opened from garage door to street, a car free to back out when the alarm goes off. When the skyline sharpens in the cold air at sunrise, that open stretch of blacktop is the proof that the night's work was done.
