Burgess Snow Removal

About Burgess Snow Removal

At dusk on the first real storm of the year, snow begins to collect on the rock ledges of Diamond Hill, and Cumberland braces for a long night. Burgess Snow Removal does snow removal throughout town, and nights like this are what the work is for. Hour by hour the drives fill and are opened again: blade lowered, a firm push to the bank, the apron cut free so nobody gets stuck at the street. Between passes there's only the scrape of steel and flakes falling soft around the porch lights. Morning finds the hill white and the driveways dark beneath it.
