About Horizon Landscaping, LLC

Light comes late to western Coventry — it has to climb the wooded ridges above the Pawtuxet valley before it reaches the lawns, and by the time it does, Horizon Landscaping is already edging a bed, the dew still silver on the blade. This is a complete landscape service company, at home in a town that runs from mill-village streets near Anthony out to stone walls and second-growth oak: design work with trees, shrubs and flowerbeds; sod laid and lawns mowed and edged; shrubs and trees pruned; mulch spread dark and even; stumps taken out; a fertilization program tuned to what each season asks for. There is a particular pleasure in the finished thing — the crisp line where turf meets mulch, a yard that looks like it decided to be that way on its own. Come winter, the same trucks are out on commercial lots before the first cars arrive, pushing the night's snow back to the curb line so a whole morning can simply happen. Residential or commercial, the pride is the same: leave a place looking cared for, and let it hold that look all season.
