About American Tree Service, Inc.

The Pawtuxet runs quiet behind Washington village, and the oaks leaning over it have been dropping limbs into Coventry yards since long before anyone drew a property line. American Tree Service, Inc. works that stretch of town: taking down a tree that has gotten too close to a roofline, thinning a crown so October light reaches the grass again, pruning out deadwood before a nor'easter finds it first. When wind comes up the valley and leaves a driveway under a maple, the limbs get cut out, the brush gets chipped, and the lawn gets swept clean. There is a particular satisfaction in the moment the saws go quiet and the yard looks like nothing ever happened there. Coventry and its neighbors — West Greenwich, East Greenwich and West Warwick — get the same steady work.
