April in Bristol belongs to the daffodils, tens of thousands of them lifting on the lawns at Blithewold while the bay is still cold enough to hold the mornings down. Secret Garden Designs takes its cue from that season, working lawns around town so the turf comes up even and green beneath whatever else a yard is doing. The work is mowing, trimming, edging and the cleanups that open and close the year, done with an eye for how a lawn frames the beds and paths it borders.
